The deadlift exercise, to some, is considered the king of all exercises.
When performed with proper technique and form, there is no debate that the deadlift exercise helps you build full-body strength with a primary focus on the posterior chain of the body (hamstrings, glutes and back).
However, most folks miss the boat when it comes to proper execution of technique and form. If you really want to dial in technique, here’s a list of 3 key concepts to focus on:
- Create lat tension by pulling the slack of out the bar
- “Push” both feet down through the floor
- Stand up tall at the top with a submaximal glute squeeze
